Warmonger
Arika's retro-70s antiwar metal anthem
Lyrics
Warmonger
Dead men make you a man
You kill all the men that you can
Warmonger
Warmonger
Your gland is in your hand
Pumping blood into the sand
Warmonger
Warmonger
I don’t know what makes you tick
but you’re a ticking time bomb
Warmonger
The beating is stronger
Your will to power
Drilling every waking hour
Warmonger
I don’t know what makes you sick
But you’re inhuman
Warmonger
Shooting from an ivory tower
Is the behavior of a coward
Warmonger
Feeding soldiers into the roaring slaughter
Defiling every wife and daughter
Fire, napalm, agent orange
White phosphorus, plutonium, uranium
No horror is to cruel to inflict on another human
Stop communism
Bring democracy
Topple dictators
Change regimes
Freedom for all
Power to the people
Release your resources
Liberate your oil
Warmonger
You’re an invader of foreign lands
You’re a criminal on our home soil
You’re a deadly disease
You have no soul
Stop! Warmonger
We don’t believe you any longer
We’ve got your number, you couldn’t be any wronger
Hunger and greed, anger and danger
Your reign of terror is over
Warmonger
All lyrics by me
Hope people catch the irony of some of them, like promising freedom for all and power to the people, but taking their resources and liberating their oil.
Music video version in months to come. This is song #26 by Airka & The Amoebas
F the warmongers, and F the haters.

There’s real force in what you’ve written — it taps into that long anti‑war lineage where the human cost is pushed forward and power stays comfortably distant. It brushed up against that ‘lions led by donkeys’ feeling for me, and you’ve channeled it in your own way. I haven’t listened yet — I suspect it’s got some bite to it — but the writing alone carries real charge.
